Tascal Scottish Country Dancers are very happy to welcome dancers to our Winter Ball Weekend in Hobart 19-21 August 2022. Fabulous musicians, Chris Duncan and Catherine Strutt.

Here's the weekend's line up:
Friday evening, choose between a tour of the historic National Trust property Runnymede or walk through some of the dances for Saturday evening's Ball then join together for supper at Runnymede. Saturday evening is the gala event at the beautiful historic Hobart Town Hall. On Sunday, gather together with Chris and Catherine for a picnic lunch at historic Richmond village to enjoy music, dancing, food and friendship.

Some of you have danced in our historic and stunning Town Hall - it is truly beautiful and a little reminiscent of the Edinburgh Assembly Rooms! With the RSCDS recently releasing their publication The Heart of Mid-Lothian celebrating the 250th anniversary of Sir Walter Scott's birth, we thought the ball in our Town Hall was an appropriate occasion to include a couple of dances from the book on the programme. We hope you can come.
